Montserrat neighbourhood: It was named after Nuestra Señora de Montserrat Virgin.” All the history of the city and the country can be easily seen due to its buildings and squares which are mostly historic monuments.  It was originally a Spanish neighbourhood whose immigrants setlled down on Avenida de Mayo Avenue and also on Rivadavia and Belgrano Avenues. At present, there are lots of offices, banks, cafés, hotels, stores and restaurants. It is also the National and  City council Civic Center.
